Terms & Conditions
The Glass Collective
1. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are valid for [30] days unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are subject to change if project specifications, materials, or site conditions change.

Any additional work requested outside the scope of the original quote may incur additional charges.
2. Deposits & Payments
-
A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote unless agreed otherwise.
-
Final payment is due upon completion of the work, unless prior arrangements are made.
-
Late payments may incur a fee of [e.g., 2% per month] and may result in delayed service or warranty voidance.
3. Materials & Lead Times
-
All materials remain the property of The Glass Collective until full payment is received.

Lead times provided are estimates and may be affected by supplier availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

Custom or made-to-measure products may have longer lead times and are non-refundable once ordered.
4. Installation & Site Access
-
The customer must ensure clear and safe access to the site during installation.
-
It is the customer's responsibility to notify us of any underground services, hazards, or structural issues.
-
Any delays caused by site inaccessibility or unsafe conditions may result in additional charges.
5. Compliance
-
All work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards (e.g., AS1288, AS1926.1, NCC/BCA).

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain any required council approvals, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We can assist with compliance documentation where requested.
6. Warranties
-
We offer a 3 year warranty on workmanship and manufacturer warranties on materials where applicable.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, structural movement, or unauthorised repairs.

Glass is inspected prior to installation and complies with AS/NZS 2208. Minor imperfections not visible from 3 metres under natural light are acceptable.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
-
Cancellations must be made in writing. Custom orders may not be refunded once manufacturing has commenced.

Deposits may be retained to cover administrative or production costs already incurred.

Refunds are processed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
8. Limitation of Liability
-
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, product failure, or installation issues beyond our control.

Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of faulty materials or workmanship.
9. Ownership of Goods
-
Ownership of goods passes to the customer only once full payment has been received.
-
We reserve the right to remove installed materials if payment remains outstanding beyond agreed terms.
10. Disputes
-
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably before pursuing legal action.
